Bring Marc Emery Home to Canada
We want the Canadian government to bring Marc Emery home to serve his sentence in Canada.This is a normal process called "Treaty Transfer" whereby American and Canadian prisoners are transferred home to serve their sentences in their native country. This is normally done so that prisoners can be closer to their families, and be better monitored and reintegrated into society.
Once Emery is sentenced in the USA, his lawyers will initiate the treaty transfer application. They expect no objection from American authorities, but there must also be support from Canada’s Public Safety Minister.
Originally we were fighting for Canadian officials to block Marc's extradition entirely. Now we are simply asking the Public Safety Minister to accept Marc's treaty transfer and allow him to serve some of his sentence in Canada.
Please contact the Canadian Minister of Public Safety Vic Toews (pronounced "Taves") and ask him to approve Canadian citizen Marc Emery's prison transfer application so Marc can serve his sentence in Canada. Please be polite and respectful when contacting Vic Toews.

dear sir i think that you as an official of your country should realise that marc has not done anything wrong on u s ground and he should be brought back to his home country and not be brutalised by the usa's bullying tactics that send so many other countrys running scared ,its time that this man was shown some justice by all departments of law an order, and shown some sort of decencey,honesty and integrety by you and your cohorts, the way that this man is being toyed with is a shambles to all the laws that you stand for and say that you up hold ,,, this man deserves his freedom at the very least and it is down to you to achieve this goal for him, please and without any moral and immoral fancys take a look at what he has suffered , why he has been put through the maze of officialdom and, then think to yourself if i commit a crime in lets say, the usa should i go to china to do my sentence,,,? c'mon now let sense and truth become a reality for marc and his family and many supporters worldwide, let justice show its worthiness and do as any respectable person would do that holds your seat in government show the will and tenacity that put you were you are and improve on it for this man, and the many others, that blind injustice has done, restore peoples faith in an injustice and a wrong doing thats been blatently thrown into your faces fight for the man give him hope and truth to keep going and at the least give him a chance to get home kindest regards

Letter to Mr. Toews sent.
I as a Canadian Citizen am asking you Mr. Toews, to please bring Marc Emery home, to serve his sentence in Canada. We need you as Canada’s Public Safety Minister to support the Treaty Transfer, so that Marc may be closer to his family as he spends his time in prison.

instead of bringing Marc Emery home..how about a pardon??
Marc Emery has been my hero growing up...seriously... i think i frirst herd about him during the bush years and i was still in hs..however time has past and he was charged under a different administration.. why aren't you guys seeking a presidential pardon? we all know Obama is a horrible president and is taking our country to a socialist state however he was quoting is saying that pot should be legal ( 2006) why not pressure him and to have him release a presidential pardon..seems like that would be the way to go....
